So I've been dating a girl for about a month and everything is going great. We aren't officially a "couple" yet but have both hinted at it happening very soon. We're each off to visit our family for the holidays and won't see each other until later this week. Her birthday is today. She's told me that I don't have to get her anything for her birthday and I don't won't to go too overboard with the gift as we aren't officially a couple yet.
Anybody have any simple and inexpensive gift ideas for a 28 year old women? I don't want to do flowers as I just got her some a week or so ago.
Buy her some sea monkeys, and then name all of them after her.

A nice Birthday card and her favorite candy? Chocolates?
yeah a funny B-day card and take her out to dinner is what I would do dont go spending a bunch of money on gifts someone you have only been seeing a month
