I have well over $500k invested in my wife over the years. It would be nice to see a little return on that investment.

I think my SO would encourage me to do it for the money LOL I can't say I wouldn't do the same... I mean if it was a once and done, no strings attached, you give me 500G's, then yeah, I have to admit, I may do it. That's a lot of money to snub your nose at.
Absolutely not for $500,000. That amount of money would be nice to add to the bank account, but really wouldn't make a lot of difference go our lives.
I start finding it more difficult to maintain the high ground when the number is more like 5 million. I suspect when push came to shove (as it were), we would NOT go through with it. Just not worth it.
