Hey, Sea of Grass! I learned how to multi-quote! It finally sunk in!!! Thanks for your patience!

I hate to admit to this, sophialee, but I had what I think it was - saffron rice with peas in it, and several orange colored sauces with little beans in one and then it looked like asparagus and mushrooms in another and I had creamy spinach with the most unusual flavors! And I had bowtie pasta with a creamy sauce as well. (I'm sure you guys are laughing or making faces at my descriptions - I'm sorry, I can't remember the names - I even brought home the menu pamphlet.) We had that freshly-made flat bread, too!
Oh, and they even offered salad, and there was this bright green minty-spicy stuff that we put on it. It was good and unusual. I didn't know what it was?
And for dessert, my mother and I had this sweet rice-milk concoction with nuts (?) in it or little grapes?
It was great. I can't wait to take my boyfriend. I am hooked!
For you drinkers, they had a full bar. We all just drank water.
They did have samosas, by the way - I just didn't try them this time.
It was great! We're going again! Delicious. I had to tell you after everyone was talking on this thread about Indian food that I finally went and had some. And it was my father's idea.
Morning, Thursday!
Glad you liked the food so much, cricket! Next time you have to try the samosas. I've never had the sweet ones sophia mentioned, but the savory ones, filled with a potato mixture... --->
One time Chow and I drove to Hollywood to try Pink's hot dogs. We couldn't quite face the line, so we found somewhere else to eat, an Indian buffet.
Like you had anything to do with the circumstances of your birth. This is part of what is so irritating to me about religion - there are so many arbitrary, ridiculous rules and conditions.
Yanno...they aren't all like that. I don't go to church often, I admit. But in all my years, I've never ever heard of such "rules and conditions" at any churches I have attended... from any of the congregations...ever. I'd never set foot in a place that exuded that sort of philosophy. It sucks that religion, as a whole, has descended to such depths in people's minds these days.

Do you folks ever read the restaurant reviews on Yelp? (And everybody on here should - there's reviews for practically every town in the United States, if you don't know)
Also, if either of you have a Twitter account, have you ever been able to try those trucks with all kinds of food on 'em? I wish we had those trucks around here. I would love to try some of those - they have tacos, Japanese barbeque, I think there's even a cupcake truck.

He-he, where's Yankee The Communicator? That's a great example of overrated "communication"! I know they did; I just read that. It's simply beyond me why anybody would go that far and be willing to wait in line for hot dogs! What can be possibly so special about them?!
