Depends what kind of music, and how loud it is. Sometimes it can add to the mood, and at other times it can be a distraction. What really bothers me? Commercials (when listening to a small clock radio during certain "moments")! Talk about a mood killer...

Heres one no one thought of..and crossed my mind earlier while grabbing dinner...What about music in another language..say Latin or Italian ( the Pizza place i was at had the Italian music video channel going in the background)..especially if one partner..or both are fluent in more than one language..
I bring a boombox with me and play Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture.
Hahahaha...I said boombox to my younger sister the other day and she looked at and said..."What's that?...I told her...replied.."You are sooo old."
I know....
Actually, they're supposedly coming back...or was stating the article i read awhile back...boom boxes that is..
Cool I loved them when I had one with a cassette. Now I guess an I-pod boombox?
