This is the 1st New Years Eve in my life that I've not gone to a house party or at the very least been around someone.
I actually don't mind, as I just moved to a new place in a new city far from everyone I've ever known. I'm not thinking "Oh I'm so lonely, this is awful" as I normally would...more just enjoying my own company knowing I dont have to put up with any stupid drunk behavior like I did last week during my 'farewell' party.
But at the same time, feels a bit weird. This isn't a 'come over I'm alone' thread (seen enough of those on craigslist, guys wanting to have gangbangs and **** Just wanted to know if anyone else is out there doing the same thing!
How about old and attractive? My first alone in 25 years I think, b/c the stbxh moved out last valentines day. Well I'm not really alone--my teenage daughters are here and I bought some champagne that I will surprise them with at midnight.

Really, the only reason im staying in tonight is because where i would go is hosting some Latin-theme type night and one of the bar tenders told me that it would more than likely be dead there...plus, trying to take it easy on the wallet..lol...
Plus, I don't want to have to stop another fight like i had to last night..Just moved here, don't need any more drama then i left behind... I am just glad to be here in FL..and next year, NYE falls on a Friday..I will be there come he** or hand baskets..
My New Years starts once the weather warms...which should be soon enough..i hope lol..
As for being alone this evening..no big deal ..i'll be back at it tomorrow..im going to work on a couple mix cd's on my virtual mixer..
