Why am I still single? My Mom and Sister wonder the same thing? I think it has something to do with being genuine but not knowing how to lay the smack down? Also, I'm in a mental focus sense of mind and am too dumb to really know when I'm being hit on. I am running possible causes, solutions and what if's in my head all day long. Some of that comes from the dangers of my job and possible catastrophic damage that could occur if a mistake is made. You could kill yourself or blow the customers house up if you don't stay focused. I'm one of the best at our shop for being responsible and a Tech that everyone can trust.

I'm kinda curious myself about the too-good-to-be-true middle-age bachelors! Because IMHO it all smells of commitmentphobia... Sometimes it smells of other things, but you appear to like women.
I thought that women were attracted to good looking guys like sharks are attracted to blood.
Of course, sharks can't eat everything in the water. Perhaps you live in a place where there is too much for them to "eat". There are places where there are many times the number of single men as single women. The reverse almost never exists except on artificial reserves, like the Playboy mansion.

Yes, I like women. The longest relationship I ever had was about 2 years. Don't even go there either because it's a bomb waiting to go off!ROTFLMAO.......... No, I haven't ever lived with anyone. I almost got engaged once though. I found out she was a gold digger and I had to smarten up and end it. You already know I quit drinking years ago because I have several buddies who became alcholoics and quit the clubbing scene. I guess I just don't make myself available? If a normal guy packs say 20 PSI, I would be at least 100 PSI!LMAO............

That is a problem also. When you reach middle age around here most are happily married and the divorce rate is relatively low.
