I was actually considering it because it seems men don't want to date in their 40's. After reading the responses I won't go that route, but since no one ever guesses my correct age (I usually get mid to late 20's) I'm thinking that not answering and leaving it to the imagination would better.
When I was 18, I was traveling alone (meeting family in Europe) and I happened to find myself with a 6 hour layover in the international airport at Munich. I also happened to meet a very handsome, very personable French man who had a 7 hour layover. He was 26. I sensed that he was the type to shrug off a young 18-year old (like most respectable 26-year olds should) so I lied and said I was 23. We spent five hours together talking. He gave me his copy of a book he had because it was "disturbing, yet incredibly thought provoking" and I just had to read it. It was Lolita. I suppose that's somewhat ironic, although I was very legal lol.
I don't know if this counts as lying, but I've had conversations with really incredible, but slightly older men and when I mention school, they automatically assume I'm in grad school. I don't correct them. I feel like sometimes people look at me in a new light when they learn I'm still an undergraduate (Oh. . . you're young. . . please don't talk about beer pong.)
Anyways, I should probably go rinse my mouth out with soap now.
I dated a guy that lied about his age, tho, he told me he was older than he actually was. It was just by a year, but when his b-day came up and I thought he was turning 21, he had to fess up. lol I was with him almost a year at that point!
