Oh my gosh...are you serious? After all this, you STILL didn't get the point!?
I can't prove, simply because when it comes to relationships, I DON'T BELIEVE IN NUMBERS OR STATISTICS. This was the whole point of our argument!!!
Geez louise, some people need a map, a dictionary and a GPS to get it. Oh, wait, that won't even help.
Aaaaahhhhh... More defensive, angry yelling and posturing.
So it has been proven that you're claim of me thinking you have a bad marriage is WRONG, but you won't acknowledge that. You just move onto your next tirade.
So what's your next tirade? Oh yeah, I know: It's that statistics, studies and facts mean NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!! And why don't they? Because they disagree with what you've already decided.
You really ARE good at just making stuff up, aren't you?
The real problem is that people inaccurately portray statistics in order to advance an idea. Classic textbook example: the rooster crows and the sun rises; therefore, the rooster caused the sun to rise.
The old "living together leads to divorce" canard is peddled by people -- almost invariably traditionally minded folk -- who frown upon premarital sex (which is, of course, undeniable in a living together before marriage relationship). In order to promote their traditionalistic views about sex, these people usually cite the accurate statistic that couples who live together are more likely to divorce. Of course, just as with the rooster and the sun, the relationship is not as simple -- or causally related -- as it appears.
BTW, they usually play similar games about brith control: "Condoms fail!" they'll exhort people as a means of discouraging them from sex, "the only 100% safe method is abstinence." And it's true -- condoms do fail, and you can't get pregnant if you don't have sex. But they don't tell people that, if used properly, condoms work 98% of the time, and they don't tell people that very, very few people (i.e. less than 5%) are able to be happy while not having sex with their partner.
At least you pulled your fingers out of your ears so you could cover your eyes.
Rather than just continue to make dumb comments like this, why not give evidence to the contrary?
I think we both know why. It is because you have NO evidence to the contrary, and you seem to think that making snarky little comments covers your lack of any coherent argument or debate.

Good on you!
Oh my gosh, you crack me up. I'm sitting here shaking my head laughing. Anyway, I've wasted enough time with you, good luck with the cows.

And still... You, like your fellow combatants, provide absolutely no evidence whatever that living together before marriage does NOT increase your risk of divorce.
Rather than talk in circles, why not give evidence to the contrary?
So far what this thread has shown is that there is overwhelming evidence that living together before marriage increases the risk of divorce. And everyone screaming about how it doesn't has provided absolutely no evidence to the contrary.
So... How about providing some statistics or evidence to the contrary?
Oh my gosh, you crack me up. I'm sitting here shaking my head laughing. Anyway, I've wasted enough time with you, good luck with the cows.
More snarky comments by somebody who has repeatedly had her butt handed to her in a basket.
Good luck with the cows? Nice one. How about "Good luck with your other hormonal junior high girls."
By the way, still waiting for evidence to buttress your argument. So far you have FAILED. Will you continue to fail? I'd say the chances of that are pretty high.

Duly noted.
Have you even read or responded to any of Professorsenator's insightful posts?
Nevermind...I see that you have.
One word...fruitless.
