My husband is out at a guys night...just hanging out, shooting pool, drinking...it's a farewell party for a guy. I didn't go-didn't really want to. I wanted my husband to have some fun with the guys because I know how important that is.

Anyway, this guy (he's a db) shows up with his wife...she's the only chick there. It kind of put a damper on the time...

So, how does everyone feel about wives/girlfriends showing up for a guys night?

Sounds suffocating to me...sounds like a very insecure wife...

My thoughts exactly.

Sadly, she's about as fun as a root canal too. The personality of a wet blanket. My husband can't stand her.

If I was her, and realized I was the only wife who went, I'd tell my husband to have fun, then I'd go see a movie or go out with my girlfriends. Men need alone time just as women do.

Yeah, really not good at all. It puts a damper on the whole night. A boys night is a boys night.

Looks like she's an extremely insecure wife. And that's a huge red flag.

She's the chick that shows up at husband's work, and hangs out...

I'll bring my husband lunch, and leave...I don't hang around. In fact, he usually meets me outside so I don't have to get out. It's cold here...

So, yeah, either she thinks she's one of the guys or she's super insecure. She goes up to the workplace a few times a week and hangs out in the break room at lunch time. I think that's super weird too.

I think they need to tell her to go home...its a guys night out!

I would say just be thankful that you are able to trust your husband enough to let him go out on a "guys night out alone, and have a good time." Some husbands don`t have that.
