Is bringing a guy on the 2nd date a homemade cupcake too soon? (personal, relations)

That's why I didn't bold the part about the cupcakes going into the trash because than that takes away from the thoughtfulness. My approach would be "I made some cupcakes last night and thought you might like some" and I would leave it at that. And I would most definitely bring 4-6, not just one.
Yeah, you're right...the trash comment was probably not the best
Is the guy fat? Or is he a health nut? Second date he may read too much into being given a cupcake. Maybe ask him if he would like one? Or is it supposed to be a surprise? Or maybe a simple explanation when you give it to him, so his mind doesn't go crazy as to why he is getting a cupcake on the second date.
Wait. Scratch all of that. It's a guy. It's food. He'll like it!
I made cupcakes and want to give him one, but I don't know if it's kinda odd.
Didn't bother to read the whole thread, but it depends on the guy and the first date. No way to be more specific about that, sorry.
Some guys, especially if they're into you, would LOVE it; other guys, more casual, might see it as pushy. The second ones MIGHT be right, or MIGHT be reading too much into it. No way to tell.
I'd think it was great, especially if you're the type of woman who reaches across to unlock a door after he's let you into the car, or who takes charge of the food bag after you've been in the drive-thru, and feeds him french fries as the two of you drive.
I wouldn't do it. Been there, done that, and I can tell you from experience that a man will look at this as a sign of you thinking that your relationship is further along than it is. Now, if you happen to be walking by with a bunch of cupcakes (for something/someone else), and you stop at his desk and say, "Would you like one?", that's totally different and innocent.
Otherwise, he'll be thinking, "Oh, man, we just started dating, and already she's baking me cupcakes!" Seriously.
If any man was offended or stand-offish because I brought him a cupcake that I happened to make and thought he might enjoy, after that incident I wouldn't put one more minute of effort into talking to him, saying hello, thinking about him. Big Red Flag.
Life is too short, Girls!
I wonder if TVSG would refuse and then start a thread on here about it?

You and me both! Good grief.
If mother's milk leads to heroin, tell me, what do cupcakes lead to?
