Your measurements won't change day to day, even if you are on a diet/exercise program. It will take wks to see changes. I would just tell him that and ask him why he wanted me to do it every day, and see what he says.
Btw, I understood where SierraAZ was coming from, b/c I've read a lot of the old posts too, lol. Maybe it shouldn't have been brought up, but it wasn't out of the blue either.
I was anorexic for the first three years we dated and was bulimic for 2 years. I wonder if that has something to do with it. Since I stopped working, I've been spending a lot more time at the gym I'm going to have a chat with him and see what's up.
Those can be quite serious illnesses. You can't ask a woman her weight. So, he is probably a little concerned about you or just nervous and by keeping an eye on your measurements he can see if you are losing weight.
My interpretation is that it isn't wierd, he cares about your health but is trying to keep an eye on your weight without asking directly about it.

Making conversation by asking his wife to take her measurements every day? Nah...I don't buy that one.
I agree it's awkward. But I just can't see it being abusive in anyway. "Everyday" has never been an exaggeration word before?
Maybe I'm wrong on this one. Maybe she is forced to submit her measurements everyday and all fluctuations are taken into account with how much he is going to feed her for that day.
