True but, it's easy to say unless you've been in that situation. I don't doubt that she was a little disturbed but, her hubby also really was wrong in his actions and just made it all the worse for her. I'm not condoning her actions, just noting a few things.

^^ I likened it to a similar situation--and the guy was in the wrong too. Divorce means forget about that other person--keep them out of your life and off of your mind.

I came from an abusive relationship myself once upon a time. I worked and put a lot of my income in on the relationship and everything was good. then there was a change and all the sudden I was doing everything wrong, I was fat (i was not) and I made him want to put a bullet in his own head because I was the most terrible thing in the world. No one could stand me and that is why my father abandoned me...need I go on!!

He had a girlfriend..He bought her a ring while we were still married..and he lied about going off on a business trip and was held up with his new girlfriend....

I didnt kill him..never laid a hand on him. I divorced him!!!!

I didnt drive to Texas and put a bullet in her head and his....I decided I would begin my life again..without him..He was the loser.

Dan Broderick sounded like a loser with some of the stuff that was reported he did...but that still gave Betty no right to kill him. He had a right to live his life without her....it hurts when that happens...but no one can force someone to love them forever..and no one can force someone to stay around. And he more than paid her back for working his way through school financially....she lived on more a month than most of us live in a year or even more....and lots of couples where a spouse pays for the other to go through school and then that education spouse walks away..and the one left behind is without the degree.....

sometimes you just gotta know when to walk away!!!
