"Dating" presumes "getting to know as a person, her wants, needs, dreams, fantasies... to me, that kind of flies in the face of a dominatrix (or dominator, if you're gay) whom you see in a very one-dimensional light, for a reason. I think the excitement of a dominatrix would eventually wear off once you had arguments over the water bill, for example. I know there are folks in 24/7 Dom/sub relationships, but that would not work for me--that sort of thing really is all about the fantasy, not seeing baby pictures of her and meeting her parents. What I look for in a lifepartner is very different than what I like in a Dom/sub playmate.
