I notice even the smallest and stupidest things, such as them being offline when they normally are on, they come on at the same time, etc. (My friend liked her before we got together). I know it's really dumb, but it's ripping my insides out and I can't stand it... at all.
Any advice for how to mentally cope with such things, as stupid as they are?
unfriend her, take her off your buddylist. Stop paying attention to her and what she's doing. It's no longer any of your business and doing that is only hurting one person - you.
Yes, she is probably banging your friend. Aren't women fun? The best advice is to go bang someone else immediately, don't be a wussy. And, in the future, don't get emotionally involved.
Just to clear up, my friend and I were 16 at the time when I got with her. We were good friends and we both liked her, but she chose me over him. It basically was a love triangle. We all hung out together anyway.
I guess a real question is whether women will typically sleep with a guy to get back at her ex, just for the sake of it? Or is that just an overblown folk tale that few men experience? She did not cheat on me, fwiw.
