Men tend to pick the heavy, arduous and difficult tasks because they don't want to get bitched at for some minor detail in some minor task. Since women then do most of the numerous small detail tasks and he does a few large ones, she can then complain that she does more and that he can't do things "right" so she must do almost everything.

and you hate doing it as much as your wife hates doing the dishes, vacuuming, scrubbing floors, and cleaning toilets right? I think "chores" like that are almost enjoyable hobbies. I noticed you said "cut" and not "chop" which means you probably used a chain saw (read guy toy). I'd be more impressed if you did it with a handsaw and axe.

I would think he was a fool if he used a handsaw.

I would imagine Hawk is using a chainsaw and an axe (for splitting) or possibly a log splitter (another fun toy! )

Those of us men who are married, unfortunately do not get to cherry pick ANYTHING. We are just told what to do.

I take out the trash, but my definition of full is different from her definition of full.
I do my own laundry. NO ONE touches my clothes.
