I have to say, as a meek mild mannered man with low self esteem(balding, losing my hair, weigh too much) I have often wanted to be 'wanted" by a woman I work with--now it happens, but she's a total basket case!!
and on second thought, if she does like me, it's really about her narcissism and pathology than anything genuine. she's probably done this over and over again throughout the course of her life
now, I REALLY would love the young girl who assists me to want me but that ain't gonna happen!!

there's a song from the 70's written I think by Carole Bayer Sager or Melissa Manchester called "Don't Wish Too Hard"--"don't wish too hard for what you want cause then you may get, it and then when you get it, you may never even want it at all"
Saw Melissa Manchester many years ago at the Grand Opera House in Wilm.
