I'm from Texas so I talk to everyone - like someone else said, if they are rude or condescending I will ignore them (but I might cuss them under my breath if they are really rude).
I have traveled by myself all over the world and have met some very interesting people. I have several long-time friends in Europe I made from these conversations. I truly believe that everyone should travel and meet others from different countries -- it could mean world peace!

Yes I do. I try to find people who are in a similar situation as me, WHATEVER my current siutation is, because there is already something in common there. Mostly they are nice, polite convos that never really go anywhere though. But it helps to pass the time.
