I doubt that any of the men in this thread making sexist comments about women with guns has a wife/significant other that owns one. If they did, they'd be a lot more educated about the reality of how seriously women who own guns take the responsibility that comes with ownership. We are every bit as responsible as male gun owners, and it's just plain silly to suggest otherwise.

I would presume that just about every gun owner is responsible... You hear about mess ups once in a while, but I would presume women would be just as capable gun owners as men are..

I've kinda new to this thread, but what do you all have?

I have:

Glock 23
Mosin Nagant M44
M1A
SMLE
Marlin Papoose

Thinking about getting a Galil SAR

I have been taught from an early age about responsible gun ownership, passed it on to my daughter also.
Actually, my favorite weapon is a Mauser, the Swedish m/96 rifle, awesome weapon!
Its the gem of my collection, it was manufactured in 1916, when I got it, it was still in creasote.

Is the ammo you use corrosive? I found some old shells in NY with swastikas on them, they must be really nasty for the gun were for mausers.
