We've been house bound here under state of emergency, hardly anything was open yesterday, a lot of power outages and roof damage from the snow.
Darlin', i'm so sorry y'all are enduring that terrible weather.
Nowadays it's a very good idea to get at least a 3k generator, so you can plug in a few appliances, lights, etc during power outages. Honda or Yamaha gen.
It's mighty strange. So far this winter we here haven't gotten any snow. It's been very mild winter for us. Normally in the past we have a bit of snow in Dec, Jan.
Whew! I was worried for a few pages there. I left for a few days and came back and none of my friends were here .
Glad to see your posts, Sea, hoping you and Chow did not float away.
Hey Spinx, you getting snow?
Antlered? you sleeping?
Jays? Hawk? Cat? Lion? It is indeed a jungle in here...
Thanks for checking in mrstewart, and greetings cricket. Wigirl, you must be getting a life somewhere outside the board.
Anyway, just wanted to drop in and out because my response team got called to Haiti. I'll be there for ten days, directing an outpatient clinic in a small town outside of Port au Prince. They say we'll have spotty internet. Blessing is I'm getting some school credits.
Take care everybody.
Haiti - that's cool! School credits and helping people who really need it. Thanks for your efforts. See you when you get back...
Oh great, bunch of mods in here. <slams door shut behind me> haha jk
