Does anyone else have a touch of misanthropy or am I the only one in the world and should therefore throw myself off a bridge?

Ok, I'll admit it, I had to look up that word because I didn't even know what it meant. Now that I have been informed by Google that it's referring to a general mistrust and sometimes self imposed isolation from the human race I know that I don't have it. In any event I think jumping off of a bridge would be a little too drastic of an action to take if you really feel this way. I often wonder what's going to happen to the human race due to our self destructive tendencies but I tend to find that the majority of people I meet in daily life appear to be basically good people and I'd be willing to bet that you are too.

If you dislike humans, then humans will dislike you.

Au contraire, mon frère, I hide it and I am very well liked. I'm an ED RN so I have to get along with all kinds of people.

This is just a part of my hidden inner self slipping through.

I guess if you can keep hiding it you'll be fine. These things don't stay suppressed forever. At that point, you'll likely become one of those bridge-worthy people.

I just stick to the people I like and get along with and the rest can go hang themselves!

If I had to work at Wal-Mart waiting on customers, I would become misanthropic before getting my first paycheck.
