If it weren't for the weird make-up, earrings, etc., he'd look like an aging GUY! I'd much rather take an aging guy who looks like a guy than one who looks like a woman, but it might be just me.

As men get older, they start to look more and more like George Burns. As women get older, they start to look more and more like George Burns. I just wish I could remember where I heard that.

I'm pretty much never attracted to a "typical" woman. "Typical" women in my part of the country are very girly, wear lots of makeup, have long hair, are super religious and conservative, dream of driving a brand new full size SUV, living ten miles from town, and having herds of children. It seems their main goal in life is to be as normal and average as possible. That's perfectly fine if that's what people want, but it's just not me. I generally find myself attracted to women who have short hair, wear minimal makeup (or at least tend to make it look that way), and enjoy clothes but have their own unique, quirky style. I tend to be more attracted to a woman who would rather read a book than watch television, or one who would rather listen to Artie Shaw than...well...whatever is played on the radio these days. I'd prefer to be with someone who would rather go for a walk than go to a movie. I'd prefer a woman who is herself all the time, and couldn't care less what is popular.

So far I haven't yet met such a woman. I'm sure they exist, but if they live in my neck of the woods they must be hiding.

I don't think it is very common for people to be attracted to nontraditional looks. It seems they will always go for the classically attractive person or whoever matches the current trend of what is supposed to be attractive.

True. And when you go a little deeper, these features are also similar to the parents' features. It applies to both men and women. I've seen so many pictures of couples who look like siblings it's scary! Even came across a book on the subject in the library once.
