I can tell you that if I know someone has a gf, and they are hitting on me, I find it pretty disgusting. So I guess the same would apply if they knew I had bf, but still kept trying. It's very disrespectuful, IMO. The exception of course would be if someone you knew really well was in a BAD relationship, but could see the light.
Is that new slang Im not aware of? If not and I were into going around feeling guys and they let me know they had a girlfriend, I would definately move on to the next one?
I'm guessing context clues are nonexistent here [/sarcasm]
As innocent as this sounds it feels a little wrong to me.
Maybe. He and I knew one another for a long time, since before I met the boyfriend I had then. He moved away but would call from time to time to say hello and ask if I was still seeing "that guy." And we've been married for 14 years now, so I don't regret calling him once my boyfriend and I broke up.

You'd have a lot of guys lined up waiting for you to do that.
I move right on, and definitely think less of girls who go after taken guys (or vice versa). Not only is it disrespectful to the girlfriend, but if he leaves/cheats on her with me, I'd wonder how long it would take for him to do the same to me.
If it's the sort of situation where you'll see them again, I can see keeping an ear out for trouble in paradise, but for me he's completely off-limits.
I mean, think of it: Say the person cheats on his or her significant other with you. Congratulations, you've bagged a cheater who will probably do the same thing to you.
