Not really. But am not married yet.

Only know from married guys the amount of lies they have to put in to keep their marriage stable

Those are such uplifting stories! I read a book once about spouses who cheat, and what stayed in my mind is that the cheating partner more times than not wasn't giving enough to the relationship. If you stay focused on what makes your spouse happy, then they make you happy, and everything is fine. It's when you start neglecting the marriage that holes begin to appear, and even minor problems become magnified.

That is the best thing I've read all day.

That is all well and good, but stories of marriages lasting that long are the exception and, as a rule, they don't last. A much more realistic article would be about people in a nursing home dying alone after their spouse left them and they were too old to find someone new and their children also abandoned them, so they just sit around in an old room surrounded by strangers and an uncaring staff until they finally die.

Not as "uplifting", but allot more realistic.
