The heart loves who the heart loves...and except for the comments made by Sierra and a few others who understand this, I find the ugly comments about both the capabilities of a 21 year old and a 49 year old to be quite ignorant...and who in the world brought the POLICE into the matter...what do we have now, a whole new segment of the morality police? Puhlease...the OP probably wrote this because he can't understand why this young woman is paying attention to the 49 year old instead of HIM.
For a myriad of reasons: smart, educated, witty, experienced, well traveled, well dressed, acts like a gentleman, provides romance, etc., etc. - all those things her peers fall short on.
Well the age difference is significant, but why not ask the question about the man? Why would he be interested in someone so much younger? U will never know what attracts to people. Maybe the OP is right- what if she is looking for a sugar-daddy? He is looking for something too and if they can find it in each other I say live and let live. In the end each will sleep in the bed they make.

No way! It's the opposite. Men's physical attraction towards women doesn't really evolve. He wants a 21 year old at 18, at 21, at 31, at 41, at 49 etc...
I merely said your husband is also significantly older than you are. Where you got the rest is your problem. I neither said it about you nor about any generic relationship of this nature.
