Well, those are two items that go together I guess.
Here is my advice:
1) You didn't get burned that bad, honestly...I have cousins that got trapped with psychos so here you have a short relationship that flamed out....move on.
2) You will look back and say "god I dodged a bullet", you should also be saying right now..."why did I lose sleep over her at all".
You need to learn to take things slower and not get too over the top too fast. Just protect yourself, date, have fun and slowly get to know her before handing over your heart. The nutty ones won't make it 3 months so then you aren't overly invested and can move on.
