Yes, she was supposed to call me yesterday and last night. I just tried again with no luck? I left a concerned message again! In my eyes I am not being unreasonable. I am genuinely concerned.
I'll tell you a little story to keep you occupied, maybe it will amuse you.
My DH and I began dating in March 2000. We long distance dated across one state line. By June that year, he and I decided to move in together. He was coming my way, but had to finish up his 5 year contract at his job first, which put him at a September 1 arrival date via his pick up truck, his things, and a 6 hour drive to my place.
I went and rented a bigger apartment to make room for all of this stuff he was supposed to be bringing. And from August to September, I hardly heard from him.
I know EXACTLY what you are going through right now.
This was back before either of us had cell phones, texting, or anything like that. My nerves were on the fringe as the date came closer and I didn't hear from him.
I decided to just chill, and get our place ready. Keep busy.
He arrived on cue, the night of September first. Here's what I had missed that last month:
Mike decided to burn his trash after packing up all the house. He accidentally set fire to his front lawn.
That shot down his power lines, his phone lines and internet, and burned part of his front porch.
Since it was a rental house, the farmer had to come out and fill out paperwork.
Mike got a huge fine by the city for reckless burning, and had to go to court.
Once his friends and family discovered he was moving out of state, they wanted to come and buy a lot of his things from him. He had to distribute some of his furniture and items in gradual family yard sales.
Needless to say, he had a rough last month tying up loose ends, but he arrived with barely anything in the the truck and his cat. And once we got him settled, it began a beautiful arrangement where I no longer needed to worry like I Had that month of August.
Hang in there Rugged, send out those positive energies and little protection thoughts to your gal, and she'll arrive in no time right to your door.
I just got a cell phone to keep in touch with her. I had little to no use for one before. She even bought it for me! I am very grateful for everything she has done so far. I am not use to a woman doing these kind of kind things for me. It is entirely new and am still memorized by it. I already picked up some new furniture she bought for her place in my truck. I muscled the boxes up the stairs by myself. That is why my name is Rugged!LOL.......... I think I will go over today and put all of it together for her. I have to do something to get my mind to chill out? I don't want to do anything to mess this one up.
It doesn't help I am home today on emergency calls only. I have to do something to keep me occupied and I think I will be working on getting her kit furniture together for her.
Update: I have put some pieces together and it doesn't look good. If this doesn't workout I am finished with women? I can't give my heart to any other ones who take advantage of me. This is unacceptable and I refuse to deal with it. I am much happier single!

It just figures it is just my luck!
I think I will go over today and put all of it together for her. I have to do something to get my mind to chill out? I don't want to do anything to mess this one up.
