Or better said, a guy younger than me. Anyway he was only two years younger. He was more mature than me and most of my peers though.
What I didn't like was the reason I left him: he was a gang member and had the tatoos and etc. His appearance and personality totally did not match. The outside said just another sp-c gangbanger but the personality said mature, responsible, understanding, patient... I didn't want to leave him but I knew I couldn't be associated with a person like that. Those last nine words make me sound like an a-hole in most situations, but I know I did the right thing.
