I swear they have this Ike and Tina/Romeo and Juliet type of relationship. They have broken up countless times, but always end up back together. What is up with these type of unions? Do any of you know people like this?

I bet you they are both addicted to drama and have great sex that keeps them together.

Yes I know a couple like that. I think people need to walk away from toxic relationships.
It's nothing but a waste of time.

People like those think it's great passion.

They think others are in flat boring relationships. They love the ups and downs, the adrenaline rushes, make-up sex.

Yes, I have known people like that. Seems the sex is great in a lot of cases, expecially the make up sex. I'm not making light of it, but it is the glue for a lot of these relationships.

I have known people who act like this.
Seems one aspect of that is passion overriding logic.
From all the fighting it is obvious they would be better off apart, yet something in the both of them is drawn to it.

Years ago, I dated a girl, and her sister and her husband were like the couple in the OP.

THey loved each other, of that I have no doubt, but very rarely did a weekend go past without them having a full scale argument. We're talking fisticuffs, crockery throwing, full on screaming matches here.

I stayed at their house a couple of times and saw it first hand. Yet. they'd be up the next morning, and be all lovey dovey again.

last I heard, they were still together.

My g/f also has a couple of friends who fit the description.

I guess some folks just like to do it differently.
