Well that's the point, what one thing would keep you most happy & satisfied or could you not live without, knowing you were never getting off this island?

& no sneaking in something or someone else like MM
otherwise I too would have snuck in my kids, my coffee & chocolate.

You can take anyone or thing you want. (anyone you choose will go with you and anything you take will work)

For me, it would be a toss-up between my husband and a wi-fi computer, with me leaning more heavily on the husband.
I'll take my hi-tech yacht so I can sail back whenever I want

The antlered dude never gets stranded for he's the queen bee's knees.

I dont need to 'imagine' I was on a desert island...I have been there already!

Try moving into an apartment with nothing but your computer

Yes, as long as I have Wi-Fi...I can email everyone and tell them I'm stranded!

What would you take?

Wouldnt take the wife because Im sure she'd be all "You just gonna leave those half eaten coconut shells all on the ground without picking them up?", "What water did you use to make my tea because it tastes funny", or "Im sorry honey, Im too tired tonight".
I feel sad for you, truly. My husband is just the best company (and he satisfies my other needs, too). We never seem to run out of conversation, even if we are having a "heated" argument, it's still wonderfully stimulating and generally entertaining as well.

But I'm with Max's Mama and Robee, there was a small hesitation about leaving my "communicators" (computer and/or hearing aids) behind since I'd be totally deaf. And yeah, one thing, I'd not be able to bring along my hearing aids, so that would be a real bummer not hearing his voice and I guess those wonderful discussions would be out until we figured out a way to communicate since neither of us knows sign yet; but I'd still opt for him.

Guess it'll have to be the computer... That's whom I live with anyway...

Hopefully, I'll find something to smoke there. Could be even better... Might learn how to brew, too. Fish I'm good with it.

And you never know... some handsome savage from a neighboring island might make it to mine! Let's just hope he's not a cannibal!

Please not: girls quickly got sidetracked and talked about their husbands or computers...

I'm pretty sure every guy here has to decide between a girlfriend/wife or a boat... maybe both, and just leave them on the island?

nag,nag,nag

Since we are suspending reality I would take Tasslehoff the kender's magic bag given to him by Fizban.
Anything I need, I can just reach in and pull it out.
