Has anybody ever told a full blown narcissist that he/she was a narcissist? What was their reaction?

I have done this several times, but it doesn't change anything. Half of the people I know are narcissistic egomaniacs that constantly go on and on talking to death every single detail of their lives. And no matter how many times I ask them to stop they do not. The only reason they pretend to have a 'conversation' with you is to string you along and keep you listening. Even when you are talking to them you can see the wheels in their head spinning thinking about the next thing relating to 'them' that they can bring up. Chances are they are not listening and could care less about what you have to say.

My personal experience and advice is to avoid these people at all costs because I have never seen one change.

cl723, If you are thinking about doing this, you may be living dangerously.
Depending on the person's particular constellation of disorders, large or small, you could get much more of a reaction than you were bargaining for!! (Yes, I know someone who probably has that "disorder" and he's positively scary whether he's angry or not!)

LOL, not as of right now. I was just wondering what their reaction would be. Although I have told narcissits about their bad behavior just never flat out said that they were narcissits.

They don't consider it a problem. In all honesty narcissism helps them succeed. To you it is a problem. And because they don't have empathy. They do not care how much suffering you went through.

Not in person, but on here -- denial, with ridiculous hyperbole (e.g., "that is the most naive comment I've ever heard," "you are probably the dumbest person I've met on the internet").

Another classic reaction is pointing out something you said or did that is hypocritical, and blowing it way out of proportion.
