He sounds like he has his head screwed on right, since he also said he just was going to buy his 3 kids some bicycles and a few skateboards. Also, he was going to find someone "smart with money" to help him manage it.

Good for him, it's nice to hear someone who really needed the money won it.
Ah, thanks for clearing that up.

I wouldn't date him...too much baggage. Three kids and two different baby mamas? No thanks....

Plus, he's only 1 year older than me and I like them at least 5. LOL

Yes, some women take avantage and live off child support. My mom's boyfriend's ex-wife is like that (well that and the rent from 2 rental properties she got in the divorce). A lot of women are like that. It's bullsh*t, but then again there are a lot of children who live without child support as well which is also bullsh*t. It's not new news.

I wish him well. I hope he follows through and finds that smart money manager. He really needs help and protection.

I do too...for his sake, I hope he surrounds himself with people he can trust.

"Idiot" may be kind of harsh, but when they're so broke they can't even pay their bills and they're spending their money on lottery tickets anyway, then yeah, I'm not going to leap to that person's defense if someone calls him an idiot.

Likewise, I'm not going to assume the mothers of his children are deadbeats living high on the hog of his child support. Minimum wage split three ways is not a lot of money.

Which is exactly why a person in that position ought not be wasting money on lottery tickets. And they're kind of an idiot if they do.
