Really. An anonymous letter to a teen site where the girl states as one primary dating characteristic that he looks young? Hardly an endorsement for attraction to older men.

Those grapes make good wine. My guy is 33. His ex-gf is 7 years younger. After they broke up, when he was 29, he went for me. Why? Well, for one thing, she was one of the ones who didn't grow up between the ages of 18 and 21, and he got sick of dealing with the drama and immature behavior. He also got sick of her mooching off him and sitting around the house--HIS house--while he worked overtime. She couldn't even keep the place clean in return for the free room and board.

So, whoop, there goes the pendulum in the other direction, toward responsibility, no drama, head on straight, tell it like it is, it is what it is, and I'll pay my own way in my own space, thanks much. If he changes his mind and wants kids some day, well, nothing I can do about that, but it has been three years and so far, so good.

My SO dated a woman 9 years younger than him before he meet me. One of many reasons he liked me was because I didn't want kids and neither did he. I am 9 years his senior.

See, another example of how wrong you tend to be in your assumptions.

I am an feminist and I don't see younger women as competition whatsoever and I would hazard a guess that almost all of the women who post here on this forum don't either.

Hi eagle7,

Its strange because they make no offspring. A 45 year old woman with a 30 year old man passes 0 genetic or cultural trends. Reverse that and you could fill up a minivan. Rinse, repeat generation after generation.

This thread asks:

What is with the attraction to younger girls?

That's the answer. This thread reminds me as much as some of those idiotic male projections where they ask if women like porn as much as they do. My answer is "no you fool".

Sex is not natures gift of recreation. The reason why we have sex is because we are being hunted, and we need to biologically move, fast. That is what gave rise to the angiosperms with flowering sexual displays.

Hi Avienne,

As I have alluded to elsewhere, a recent trend in fat has allowed older women to display more signs of attraction than many younger women. Older women who are in shape, don't dress in sweats etc. certainly can out compete younger women like never before. Also, as you say, some men do not like to pay the price of drama. Lots of this stuff is rather new.

Hi seeniorita,

I doubt the reasons are the same.

'Cougars' Date Young Men to Help Their Egos, says Study | LimeLife

Its not a surprise since many women accuse men of chasing young women for their egos. That's a female projection. Men are certainly after sex.

Well what do you think these "Cougars" are doing with MEN....sitting around with their paws crossed or gettin' sexed up because we all know a woman is in her sexual prime at that age!
