Long story short, girl likes me, I like her, we both like each other. Her birthday is next week, though I won't be able to give it to her until the weekend since that's when I see her...until school's over with. Soo, would it be better to text her happy birthday? We both are going to go out after she returns from a family trip.

You know what I am going to say. The old school birthday card. Text is so modern.
IMO, texts are for 'running l8' and 'dont forget 2 PU milk' type messages. Birthdays are a significant occasion and should be treated differently than everyday banal chatter such as those.
But this is just my opinion, everyone is different. If she views text messages as meaningful then by all means, send a text.
:P I'll do both, text her that morning and get her a card with UA on it since she's an alabama fan. we're not dating yet, but I think we will be soon.
And she graduates as well so I think i know what to do now.
