I'm sure it's fun for now, and that's okay. But for purposes of a long-term relationship, the age difference here is great. It approaches what I would call a generational gap. People of different generations really do have very different ways of thinking and looking at the world, and it becomes particularly apparent in intimate relationships. Just adds another complication.

But nothing serious has to come out of the relationship, right? Maybe they both just do it for fun, for the experience itself.
Everyone jumps to the same when-he's-old-she'll-still-be-young conclusion. How about two adults having a fleeting romance and enjoying the pleasure that such a fling would entail? A May to September interlude of good times, great company, and mind blowing sex.
Oh, were I single again!

No, nothing serious needs to come out of the relationship. If they are enjoying each other's company, that's fine by me. It's just that I think ahead sometimes and what may happen down the road.

Hey has anyone thought of these couples?
Celine Dion's husband is 26 years old then her and they have been married for 16 years
Catherine Zeta Jones's husband Michael Douglas is 25 years older than her and they been married ten years now.

While there will always be exceptions to every rule, in general the age difference does indeed catch up with such a couple - and it's not a pretty picture when it does.

And??? Doesn't mean that they are happy.
It's not impossible to have such age difference in the marriage, it's just more complicated.

So,don't you think they would just get a divorce if they're unhappy?

Nonsense! It simplifies matters. He wants her for her looks and she wants him for his money. See? Simple!
