soo i have this female friend for awhile and we hang out every once in awhile. for the past few weeks she been bugging me a few times to come down her way but i been busy. i noticed every time she wants to hang out its always "lets go get wasted". im trying to cut back on my drinking (we're ignoring what happened last night!). i suggested going somewhere during the afternoon and she refused and said we had to go get drunk at night. whys everything gotta involve getting me drunk?
I think that you have it backwards. SHE wants to get wasted and SHE needs to have someone around while SHE does. SHE knows that you can fill that requirement. Misery loves company.
Maybe she just doesn't like drinking alone. This is a "friend" that you can do without. Stay busy when she calls. It doesn't sound like a good relationship.
If something happened the last time you were wasted together that she wants to repeat, she may feel the only way to get you to repeat it is to get you wasted again.
It sounds like you need to clear the air about what happened. (whether or not you want a repeat and if not, why not)
i know she had a thing for me a long time ago but i was with someoen at the time. then she was with someone for ahwile and they broke up not too long ago with tons of drama (shes kinda a drama queen)
i think id rather just stay in and watch the lakers. creative excuse time!
