I had a new client at work on Friday who didn't remember who I was and I told her that I spoke to her last week and her response was-"OH I REMEMBER YOU NOW, YOU ARE THE BIG GUY RIGHT?
So I told all my female coworkers what she said and I was like-"what the hell does she mean big guy and stood up in front of all them with a confused look like I had a six pack"
They were all laughed so hard and one of girls even defended me by saying-"he is not big just husky"
Then another female co worker said if I eat more salads I will lose my stomach. I then said-"WHAT STOMACH?? She laughed so hard as I was standing up pretending to not have a stomach with a confused look on my face trying to find chubbiness.
So Guys who are overweight and trying to find that special girl just have the ability to POKE FUN at yourself which will have them attracted to you.
One can make fun of themselves and others if it is said properly. I'm a joker and always poke fun and never been punched yet. I poke fun at every taboo thing including all politically correct (incorrect) no nos except weight. Now that no female can handle.
I call it being honest and holding nothing back. If one can't take a joke then I don't really care to converse with them.

It's not a female thing or making fun of yourself thing but people in general find it easier to be around others who don't take themselves too seriously.
In my experience, poking fun at yourself a little bit is okay, but I try not to overdo it. Yeah, they may laugh but too much wil kill any sexual attraction towards you. Use it very sparingly.
