You are wrong. Science isn't a god to atheists. Atheists don't worship, exhalt or pray to science. Science is a method of finding the truth, that doesn't make it a god. You're making a preconcieved conclusion that everyone must have a god. This is false though.
Seems atheists DO worship, exhalt and pray to science. Science is Athesists' truth. Look up demi-gods. If you make something so important in your life you accept it as the truth, the way, and the end of everything then it is your god.

No they don't. You want to believe they do though. Atheists just find science to be the best way at finding the truth. I don't see why that is so difficult for you to understand.

The bible is a simple book. In shop it is possible to name any criminal novel: "Bible". I know that in 14 century other crosses were used. Crosses changed, books were edited...
In the first book it is written: In Jerusalem it was very cold also people could not stand in the street. In the following book it is written: In Jerusalem there was a rain... Where the truth?
And many scientists can still see the Hand of God in what they are discovering. Things work together so perfectly it all has to have an intelligent creator behind it.
Why? Nature seeks balance, er.. naturally. Simply because things work doesn't mean it was designed. It's a preposterous notion. Also, the universe we live in is pretty much pure chaos.
Edit: I don't understand why Christians are so anti-science. Science seeks out truth. It seeks to explain and understand what is going on around us. What is so bad about truth? It's not the end-all-be-all, but it is the best process we have to learn by. We cannot claim to know everything through science, and none do. It's an ever growing base of knowledge with which to work. How can that be so bad?
