Who said he was? The bible believers. It is pretty easy back then to predict people being born with certain names! I predict a Michael will be born! That will be a fact.

See I dont believe in the bible. Other than places and maybe a few people, there is no proof or evidence of ANYTHING in it. See I can write a book based on people and places of this time as well, doesn't make it true. Again, today the bible would not be written nor would any of the tales in it. To me that says alot.

You can say a boy who will be named Micheal, will be born and from all history, it is in deed more than a possibilty but anymore than that would simply be a guess.

No need for a Bible to be written today, he had written out to the very end of this World and on into the one that will last forever.

Seems to be the case on internet sites. Esp ones that discuss religion. Funny how religious forums attract so many atheists/agnostics.

Actually I can prove a boy named Michael was born, he is my son and I can show his Birth Certificate. My friend is about to have a baby, she is naming him Michael as well, I can prove him. Cant prove Jesus.
The bible wouldn't be written today because evidence and science have ruled it out, there is no need. If it was never written there would be no need for it today to be written. it is archaic and just horrible in many parts, not something we need. Just for those that cant just live to live but need a purpose and something to cling to and tell them how to live.
No god wrote it, just a bunch of fallible men looking for answers because they just couldn't be happy to just be alive.

I wonder why this type of concern never arises when examining the physical fossils of our evolution. It seems that the evolution of the Spiritual (consciousness structures) in the "spiritual fossil record" are treated differently and dismissively for some reason. Why is it assumed that there is no pattern (design) in the spiritual structures of humankind . . . when we readily accept the existence (and in fact can decode) the components of the design for the physical?

What about... different religious believing from different Faiths lead to different illusions about the evolution science concluded. How it happened was an idea of judgment over the different subject matter. And subject matter determined which laws of Nature to draw in for the justification of ... eh?! Space and Time, which really is nowadays no better empirically than Math.
