Oh so it was a necessity to commit this horrible sin of incest because the all powerful god couldn't think of a better way to get the job done?
Exactamente!! You'd think this omnimax deity would have thought to it's self...'Incest is a sin and I just can't abide sin, so what can I do to populate my planet? ....Ah! yes!!! Just create more than two people......simple huh?'
But wait! If we are to believe the Bible he did create more than two didn't he? Otherwise, who was the mystery woman that Cain married and if there were no other people other than Adam, Eve and Cain, why would this god chap put a mark on Cain's forehead so that anyone that came across him wouldn't kill him? Surely Adam and Eve would know who he was. Who else would likely come across him?? There wasn't anyone else around at the time. The plot thickens!!
Some incest is wrong but not all. If God tells you to marry your sister than its for a greater purpose and not bad at all.
People have done sinful and horrific things because 'God told me to." Those people are usually mentally ill or just plain evil. God will not tell you to do something that contradicts His Word.

Actually, this thread is about picking and choosing. The OP took a bunch of carefully selected verses from the Bible. You'll notice he didn't crack open the Book of Leviticus, where he might've found verses condemning things like incest. In fact, he would've found them described as "abominations."
Anybody can go on cherrypicking expeditions to find Biblical verses that "prove" whatever they want to prove. Big deal. Not impressive at all.
Just because people in the Bible did these things, doesn't mean God thought they were ok.
Nice try but god commanded or orchestrated these people to do those things. If he didn't approve of them why would he allow them in his perfect holy book?

2 Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God" < (Was it God that inspired these men to talk about incest in his HOLY BOOK ????!!!!!!!)

The bible is a testament to the truth and what accually happened in the past. For this history to ommit the autrocities of man would be like us denying the holocaust.
So, God's book reveals the sinfulness of man and the low level that man will go without God. The book also shows what God did to retrieve man back from sin. So, God does not fear sin and the bible is not weak in describing the sin of man, but God is Strong to save an shows what great a salvation we have in Jesus Christ.
