While some here debate if God exists, those of us who follow the Biblical prophecies and believe in them understand. That another prophecy my be nearing fulfillment. According to the Bible, before the destruction of the United States, and the return of Jesus Christ. Israel will experience a short time of peace with her neighbors. The Bible tells us that this time of peace for Israel, will lead the world into the greatest global conflict of all time.
You show your ignorance. Quran, 3:45-47, 3:49, 3:59, 4:157 etc
By your logic, we can discount the years it took fighting nazi Germany, and focus on any event close to the end of the war, and claim that was the time it took.
I can only imagine the mental gymnastics to rationalize that...
If you can ignore that, how about the fact that the bombs were drop on aug 6 and then another on aug 9, they surrender a few days later, after the US threaten to send hundreds of these bombs. Much more then your 1 hour. Not to mention the many years scientist worked on the bomb.
There are people trying to destroy EVERY country...
1. So are you saying that the Quran teaches us that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour? Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet and that is about it. They do not believe He died for our sins. And that is what the Old Testament teaches the Messiah would do.
2. Mental gymnastics? What kind of mentality would ignore the fact that new technology at the end of World War II confirms the future destructive power nations would have to destroy other nations. Do you just ignore that, because it confirms a Biblical claim. It is the new technology that confirms the Biblical account. Why are you trying to avoid that?
We are not talking about every country, we are talking about a future country that will be destroyed in one hours time. Such an event has never occured in the past. And the nation that will be destroyed in one hour is not a reference to Japan. And the Atomic weapons used today would make what was dropped on Japan, look like a firecracker.
Just like Christians have no interest in proving the prophecies in the Qur'an true...because it would reveal your own religious beliefs to be fake.
Oh I would not agree with that statement at all. And in fact I have asked many times for Muslims to show us their prophecies. I'm still waiting. Rafius, care to show us some of their prophecies that we can see fulfilled today?

They can't show us fulfilled prophesies any more than you can...All you can do is fudge what you read in the bible to make it fit what you WANT to believe...
Rafius, care to show us some of their prophecies that we can see fulfilled today?
"Their skins will bear witness against them as to what they have been doing" (41:21) - Fingerprints or other forensic evidence?
"Corruption has spread on land and sea because of what men’s hands have wrought" (30:42) - Pollution?
"And after him We said to the Children of Israel, 'Dwell Ye in the promised land; and when the time of the promise of the Latter Days come, We shall bring you together out of various people." (17:105) - State of Israel?
"They will alter Allah's creation." (4:120)- Genetic engineering?
"And He it is Who shall merge the two seas together. This palatable and sweet, that saltish and bitter. And between them He has presently placed a barrier and a massive partition." (25:54) - Panama and Suez canals?
"And when various people are brought together." (81:8) - Internet/Telephones?
"And when books are spread abroad." (81:11) - Invention of the printing press?
Do you believe them Campbell? No, of course you don't...because they are unclear, ambiguous and can apply to any number of things that you want to squeeze them into....just like prophecies in the Bible.

If the prophecies of the Bible were only fudged. How did the Christians in the 1600s write books about the return of the Jews to Israel and Jerusalem in the last days? And how did those Christians know that the return of the Jews to Israel would anger many nations around the world. How did those Christians fudged those prophecies, taking into account that the Jews return to Israel did not occure yet. The only fudging I believe going on here, is your ability to ignore the historical record. And then to suggest that it was only modern day Christians that have made such claims. And that would be a false belief.

Most of these prophecies are far more general then the one's found in the Bible.
Suggesting that when various people are brought together, this means the Internet/Telephone is a real stretch. It could mean brought together as a people in a cave, a tent, or anything one might imagine.
When books are spread abroad means the invention of the printing press?
Books in one form or another existed long before the printing press.
Corruption has spread on the land and the sea. And when the Children of Israel dwell in the promised land. Both of these prophecies were first spoken of in the Bible. It appears the Muslims had to copy some of their material out of the Jewish Scriptures. And these prophecies existed a 1,000 years before the Muslim scripture.
They will alter Allah's creation? Here again this prophecy is found in the Bible, and again, the Biblical prophecy existed a 1,000 years before the Muslim scripture.
The prophecies of the Bible will tell you that in the Last Days God will allow His people to return from all the nations where they have been scattered. They will return to Souther Israel first, and secondly they will retake Jerusalem. They will anger the nations because of their return, and they will return in a day when nations can destroy other nations in one hours time. And the nations of the East will be able to raise up a 200 million man army in that time. The prophecy states that at the same time Jerusalems East Gate will have a Porch Gate added onto it, and the Porch Gate will be sealed up until the Prince to come returns. Also the Jews of this time will rebuild their third Temple. There is little room for squeezing here, and only if you are willing to ignore all the details of the prophecy could you suggest that this is all ambiguous. The fact is these prophecies are far more detailed, and leaves very few questions as to what the Scriptures are speaking about. Only those who do not what to believe them suggest they are ambiguous.
Well those Christians were right on three counts. They knew the Jews would return to Israel before the return of Jesus Christ. They knew they would retake Jerusalem. And they also knew that their return would cause a global conflict. And they believed this, only because they trusted the truth of the Bible. And it appears, they made the right choice.
