Interesting. I generally seem to not go with saucy things that much. I mean obviously there are a few I like, but I kind of lean toward things that are "solid" or at least don't run together. So I guess that could kind of ruin it.

Oh curries are not what you'd call sloppy. Some are even rather dry, but actually I do note that take away curries do tend to cut down the meat in favour of the cheaper sauce (even though they don't add the date to the bill as happens in some curry restaurants) so I actually prefer to make my own curries.

This whole time - I've been surrounded by the worst kind of blasphomers - CURRY-HATERS - and I had no idea! Oh woe is me!!!
Actually, my dad hated the smell of curry, too. We could never go out for Indian food with him.
Why do we need common ground? We don't need other people, so whatever we do will or won't be answered for after we die. Some think we'll be reincarnated, some think there's nothingness...whatever happens, happens, and I don't expect to change anyone's mind, or let them change mine.
So if you greet me on the street, I can ignore your attempts to speak to me because you must first earn my respect? The respect of a reply?
Maybe it is as simply as greeting someone in a respectful manner. When people approach me on the street and ask directions or tell me to have a nice day - I respond. When people make catcalls at me or whistle or say lewd and disprespectful things, I ignore them.
I guess another way of putting it is--"Is respect earned? Or is there some basic level of respect that everyone is entitled to until they show otherwise?"
