Because christians are humans and flawed and some christians don't follow their religious principals very well and some really aren't christians at all but just show up for social reasons and are complete a-holes.
However, I know that this is (yet another) one of your anti-christian attacks because not every christian upholds the perfect ideals of christianity.
Really, it's like starting a thread and asking why all blacks are (insert nasty negative stereotype) or mexicans or jews or women etc. Justifying your hatred of an entire group due to the actions of some members seems just so.....KKK. (A group that also wrapped itself in the bible at times.)
Tell you what, go volunteer somewhere for a while and come back telling me about those horrible people who will be overwhelming religious. (no doubt a new experience) You honestly seem to just be fixated on this.
I would suggest that racism goes back to old testament mythology with the Jewish tribes designating themselves as "Jews" and everyone who is NOT a jew as a "Gentile" Thus the division of one group vs everyone else begins. Then , elitism begins when this group designates themselves as "gods chosen people" Clearly, favoritism exists and for this god to love this tribe above others he must hate certain others. We see this in old testament mythology as well.
So, when Christians need to justify their hatred of others, they can reference the Bible.

Perfectly said. I love it when I read in the book of Zechariah (2:8) that Israel is the "apple of god's eye." I mean, could you get any cornier? Then you have some of [my] black people with the same old nonsense. Hate the devilish "white man" because he is trying to harm god's chosen people, the TRUE Israelites (black folks). It's the old condemn those people over there because WE are the true people of god nonsense.
It's clear that christians do not like to consider hate, but they can easily point it out in others, just like Jesus said to do. Do you really believe that christians consider themselves as humans with flaws? Don't christians really believe themselves to be the crowning glory of the human race?
If you read the OP...christians will not hesitate to throw the first stone in matters concerning sexual behavior. But when it comes to hate, suddenly morals don't even get mentioned.
That's the first step to becoming a Christian. Realizing you're a sinner in need of a savior.
Christians (should) consider themselves sinners, saved by the grace of God. Admittedly, some forget that.
When christians talk about morals it's almost always dealing with something that pertains to sexual behavior. But never will one talk about hate and christian morals. Why?

Huge blanket statement covering a religion with hundreds of millions of adherents. As such, you come off as close minded as some fundamentalist.
I really don't have time to deal with people with so much hate. Really, do you listen to yourself? You sound like Phelps screaming about gays only you are labeling every single christian so congratulations on the company.
So, there's a single Bible verse dealing with hate, versus how many dealing with consenting adults having sex?
How many verses are there condemning child abuse? (no, the golden rule and the one about the millstone doesn't cut it).
