Just for fun thread- what would you like Heaven to be? Not necessarily what you think it will be but what would be personally "heaven" for you? Even you atheist can play along. Suppose Heaven does exist, what would it be for you? For example, my husband told me one time that I loved Christmas so much that he thought Heaven for kaykay would be somewhere where it was "always Christmastime." What say you? Tell us-what would you personally like Heaven to be?
I think it would be one big library with every book ever written. I wouldn't have to go look for one, I would just think about it and there it would be in front of me. I wouldn't have to put it back on the shelf and there would always be a bookmark handy. It would be quiet so no one would make me lose my place.
Yes, a huge library with beautiful wood shelves, ladders and so many books to number. You could get lost in there and spend days reading and exploring.
I also love the idea of Christmas all year long. I love the beauty of the holiday and and the twinkling lights, and overall feeling you get during Christmas.
Another thing I'd love is an amazing coffee shop with the oversized club chairs. You could sit there, drink peppermint mochas and meet people from throughout time...and hear what life was like when they were alive in the 1700s, 1400s, the time of Christ and BC.
Heaven for me would be a place where I could be with my family and best friends and just relax and enjoy myself in the knowledge that I deserve to be there.
My son once said he would like it to be one big restaurant with all the wonderful foods that he had ever heard about. He also wanted someone in the Chinese section to stand there and say, "Skip that, and that, that over there and that funny looking stuff. It all tastes exactly the same."
You guys have some great "heavenly" ideas! Heaven for me would be to be with the people I have loved on earth and also a place of great natural beauty. Heaven to me might look like living in one of Thomas Kinkade's paintings! Change the scenery every week or so and enjoy another beautiful scene!
Simply put, a place with no pain, despair, sadness, suffering, or conflict of ANY kind.
Get rid of all of that and I am good
