Well, the Bible says that the animals were provided (in part) for us to eat, I believe.
Only after the Fall. Go back and read Genesis. It was only AFTER man entered into sin that he ate meat. Adam and Eve, in their original sinless state, were vegetarians.

Yeah, but the NT still says it is fine. I tend to agree, if only because I like me some meat!
Also, we are no longer in that sinless state...so I don't see anything wrong with being a vegetarian, or with not being one.

Yup. Totally agree. There are certainly lots of health benefits to a strict vegetarian diet, but I don't know that it's going to impress God or the angels one way or the other.
