No, I'm not splitting any hairs. There is a vast chasm of difference between a layman's 'theory', a scientific hypothesis, and a scientific theory. If you choose to remain unaware of that difference and deliberately wallow in your ignorance, then you aren't equipped to participate in this discussion.

Here's another one: How does a organic soup of a few compounds become that first relicating life form? Please, you must have verifiable evidence or evolution is just theory. Were you there? Was anyone there? I guess the world will never know for sure.
Theory in any realm means it is unproven. It is conjecture, a hypothesis. There is absolutely no evidence that a single cell microbe evolved into a fish or a sea invertebrate. The theory of evolution provides one means of explaining the transition assuming there was a transition, but in no way provides hard evidence that it actually happened. So evolution IS theory.
And I haven't told you I was a creationist, I am merely reminding you that your arrogance of what actually happened is unearned. There are transitions in evolution that the odds that all these things happening at the right time in the right place and done the right way are virtually impossible. And ultimately you have no proof that animals went from a single cell to the complex life forms of today. None. Other than back then we found this. A few million years later, we found this. Today, we have this. That's not proof. That's just evidence that those lifeforms existed at that time. So, continue to believe that creationists are ignorant fools not even worthy to have a discussion with because you guys, without a doubt got this life thing locked down. Or maybe not. Yes, we can trace things like mitochondrial DNA, but unfortunately DNA breaks down over time so the trail ends very quickly. Evolutionists can be spot on, or mostly right, or somewhat right, or right for certain life and wrong for other life. Unless you can time travel at be there and witness the point of change, you will never know for sure. Hence, the world will never know for sure.

Anyway, why is it impossible for God to create an arsenic-based life form, as you suggest? Unless you know for certain that it was synthesized by scientists...because that would really be an accomplishment for them to scream from the rooftops. "We've created life!" Wow. So have I, but I did it the old fashioned way, not the scientific way.

we know everything seen/unseen is composed of atoms; and if'n the universe is going through atomic changes.... surely, the earth is bound to be experiencing some those universal atomic changes too.
Oh yeah, that expanding earth theory fell out of favor some 50 years ago, I have never known why some people have held on to it.
And yet with everythings said, you still have no proof of evolution in it's entirety is indeed the universal model on how life began and became what it is today. Theory, scientific theory, hypothesis, all irrelevent. You have organisms and you try to explain how one gets to the other. Until you can show exactly how it got here, when it happened and how it happened and proof that it happened how you said it happened, you still have theory, scientific or otherwise.

Yes, the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. It's not really funny. More like fascination when you understand what is really happening. The oceanic crust forming along the ridge just gets subducted at similar rates at the plate margins, being denser than the continental crust. In accounting terms, it all "nets" out. It is just getting recycled. Check out "Ring of Fire."
