There are four things in the bible that I don't subcribe to:

1. Hell is a firey pit that roasts people for all eternity.

2. That Noah put two of each animal on an ark, while our loving God drowned everything else.

3. The world is less than 8000 years old.

4. All non-Christians go to hell.

There are others but the K.I.S.S. principal applies here...

Default Luby's....

Is it "cafeteria style" now where we can pick and choose?

Yeah, I'll have a little roast beef and maybe some mashed potatoes, but I think" no," on the brussel sprouts!

Ok, let me rephrase that. What specific points in the bible do those of you, who are not known as "KayKay", disagree with.

None.

Though I do disagree with many churches and peoples' interpreation of parts of the Bible. Most of your disagreements would fall under this list.

I don't believe in any of the ones you mentioned but I see nothing wrong with treating your fellow man in a manner in which you'd like to be treated. The New Testament and the teachings of Jesus are the high points of the Bible. I'm not very fond of the Old Testament.

Just the part from Genesis and ending with Revelation...thats all.

If people would read it with an open, unbrainwashed mind, they would see its an interesting fiction...but thats all.

I think if the bible only had "Do on to others", and "Love thy Neighbor", then a whole lot of bickering would stop.
(which could get boring)

I agree with 1, 3 and 4 but everything else goes!

I think if people read the bible with an open mind and a humble heart they would see it is the word of God.
