I imagine that Christians that believe the bible is literal (The earth was created some 6,000 years ago) would not allow themselves to believe in an ice age since the Earth is in an ice age now. It started about 2 million years ago and is known as the Quaternary Period. Despite the many warm periods since then, we identify the entire time as one ice age because of the continuous existence of at least one large ice sheet—the one over Antarctica. (The glaciers and the Greenland ice sheet are also of long standing, but they are more recent). We are currently enjoying a warm interval: our climate represents an interglacial period that began about 10 000 years ago. The preceding glacial period lasted about 80 000 years.

So. The artificially created cannot find it's justification in sun spots.

The bible covers an ever-decreasing (%-wise, as time continues to accumulate unabated) era for overall earth history. It cannot possibly cover the vast time periods before man kept written records.

As well, it's been proven to be entirely wrong about all it's claimed events of some supernatural and godly origins, when in fact we now know otherwise. Modern relentless scientific investigation has irrefutably unveiled a lot the oldsters couldn't have even imagined, like dinosaurs and ice ages.

Well then certainly if it ain't in the bible, it didn't happen. Nevermind all the physical evidence indicating there have been at least 5.

Truly, the bible omits, either by intention or ignorance, a wide variety of things. The bible is not science it is superstition. (I suspect the Norse did superstition more entertainingly)
