"For I will not contend forever, neither will I be angry always, for [if I did stay angry] the spirit [of man] would faint and be consumed before Me, and [My purpose in] creating the souls of men would be frustrated." (Amplified Version)

How do you interpret this verse?
I'm gonna stay quiet here because you know "you are taking it out of context"...LOL
Because to interpret as you interpret it is to read in theological implications which the full text does not imply. Incidentally, if you read on down in that chapter, it says, "There is no peace, " says my God, "for the wicked." Isaiah 57:21 NASB
This, btw, is an old testament scripture which doesn't appear to be addressing anything other than God's forbearance with His people (in the present life.)

But does it say there is no peace for the wicked eternally?
kaykay, every scripture in the Bible is directed at people living at the time! 70% of the Bible is written for the Jewish people! Why then do we take any verses and try to fit them into our lives?
