When you lust after something even for a short time it still consumes you for that time.

You are free to believe that lust is wrong. The rest of us are free to believe that is a natural part of us that is programmed into our DNA. If you want to feel bad about lust - that is your choice. But I have different beliefs. I see nothing wrong with lust. It is just part of who we are.
I am very happy to agree to disagree.

this is one of those contradictions in religion that religious followers seem to conveniently sweep under the ever lumpier rug of moral righteousness. somebody get a dustpan please.

nothing is unclean of itself.

forget morality, what has morality got to do with true spirituality. what good is moral doctrine, if you are prostrated at the feet of your own lust (pride, vanity, greed, anger etc).

if (any human condition) is your master, then you're kidding yourself if you think mere adherence to moral conduct is going to save the day.

is lust your master, or are you master of your lust? is what *really* matters, not all this 'right or wrong' stuff.
