In a book titled Facts are Facts by Benjamin H. Freedman ( a Jew himself) states the Jews in Palestine now are Khazar converts. Khazar was an Asiatic nation that was subsequently conquered by Russia between the 10th and 13th century. Before that period it must be noted that King Bulan, a 7th century monarch of Khazar had to pick between the 3 Abrahamic religion, he chose Judaism, specifically "Talmudic Judaism". They adopted the Hebrew alphabet, but follow the language requirements of Germanic, Slavish, and Baltic, this mixing conjured the language known today as Yiddish. The Jews practice the Talmud and the Kabbalah, not the Torah, which is required to among the Israelites.
Y-DNA is established through the man, the Jews of the State of Israel practice matrilineality, in complete contradiction to the scriptures of the Bible and the tracing of the Patriarchs of the Nation of Israel (ie. Son of Abraham, Son of Isaac, Sons of Jacob etc.)

According to Josephus the historian in the first century "Magog founded those that from him were named Magogites, but who are by the Greeks called Scythians" p.36 in
The Complete Works of Josephus. Scythia is the land inhabited by the Khazars who later became the Jews of today in Israel, Ashkenaz are descendants of Gomer which are the Germans today. The Greeks are descendants of Javan.

FamilyTreeDNA.com places the E1b1a Haplogroup in the Middle East at the same time as the formation of the Ancient Israelite Nation. Coincidence? Hmmm. The Lemba Tribe of Zimbabwe share the same E1b1a y-haplogroup as the rest of West Africa but they also share something far more intriguing that show Israelite ancestry and may very well be the biggest key to solving this puzzle genetically. The Lemba Tribe have the Cohen Modal Gene at frequencies as high as 50+ percent and is 'common' amongst them. The Cohen Modal Gene is the distinctive gene denoting the Levitical Priesthood amongst the Israelites, their progenitor/ancestor being Aaron, brother of Moses from the tribe of Levi.
The Lemba share the same origin story as well as the location before the expansion into Africa, that place is Yemen. What separates the Lemba/Levites from the rest of the tribes of Israel is that the rest of tribes were targeted for slaves on both East and West Coast of Africa, fitting prophecy of being scattered to the 4 corners of the world via slavery.
Another thing to consider God (Yah) said that the chosen land will be at rest and no one will want for that land when he establishes his kingdom. That means no wars, no fighting for it, no wanting to colonize for any reason. Prophetically he stated in Genesis that "Japheth will dwell in the tents of Shem" we see this today.
I must also add this before closing, no matter what race, people-family or color of skin if you go by the laws of The Most High (located in the Torah) you will be included with the children of Israel at the time of redemption
